Author and Missionary:
Jennifer Ohaneson is a passionate missionary, co-founder of Blessing Bags International, and an author. Her book, “Growing a Servant’s Heart: 52 Gospel-Centered Service Projects for Families with Children of All Ages,” is a guide for parents to serve together with their children, molding their hearts and making a positive impact in the lives of others. Through 52 gospel-centered service projects, children learn how serving others can bring glory to God, point others to Him, and make a lasting impact.
Family and Faith:
Jennifer, and her husband, Michael, have welcomed 12 children into their family through adoption, biology, and foster care. Jennifer’s devotion to her family, love for people, and her eagerness to share the gospel and personal stories of God’s faithfulness make her an engaging speaker. Her desire is to encourage and inspire others to discover the transformative power of life in Christ.
Experience and Expertise:
For the past 12 years, Jennifer has been a homeschooling mom, nurturing her children’s spiritual growth. She has also gained experience as a guest speaker at women’s events and conferences, sharing her insights on various topics.
Mission Work:
Currently residing in Mexico, Jennifer and her family actively lead short-term missions trips, providing families with children of all ages the opportunity to serve abroad. By engaging in these trips, families gain a unique perspective on serving others in Jesus name.
